Dear Students:
Welcome to Week #2 in Distance Learning!
Today we will have our 1st live Video-Conference! It will be at 1:45 after you’ve worked hard all day on everything else! A LINK for this will appear in the main Google Classroom: Classroom 16! of Mr. Stathis. I will also send it in an email.
I want to be able to praise you today in front of everyone listening, that you did Great Work in ALL your assignments!
On this Web Page, there is a new link for Honor Roll! Click on those and see if you made it. If you did, THE WORLD WILL HONOR YOU! You make it to that Honor Roll each week by how much time you spend on Imagine Learning and for Khan Academy Math. The more you do, the greater you will become!
Read the Daily Schedule carefully. The link for that is right here on this page next to this message!
Read the directions for the Science Lesson Carefully and do a good job on your Notes on that and in writing your Report! Enjoy the video of the Science today!
Don’t forget about HOMEWORK!
Now, write me an email and tell me what you think and feel about this message!
Sincerely,
Mr. Stathis
Dear Students:
“Rabotay!” [Work!]
As we go on in Distance Education, studying and doing Lessons from Home, remember that this is still School, and to have the joy of learning, you must also have the discipline of learning! “Rabotay!”
The biggest diference is that I am not there directly to make sure you continue to work hard! So much is up to you and YOUR SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY to work, and work hard, to get-up in the morning, and follow the Daily School Schedule!
I know that all of us who were on the Video-conference yesterday really enjoyed the opportunity to see one another, and hear from one another, and even see each other’s pets! We will be on again tomorrow (Wednesday) at 1:45 PM.
It is important to be checking your email several times in the day as I may be sending you messages. I am going to send you some questions!
Now, send me an email this morning, telling me what you think of this message!
Sincerely,
Mr. Stathis
Dear Students:
Even in Distance Learning, I know how much EFFORT, how much THINKING, how much WORK you are doing in Lessons.
Your Greatness all depends on you.
The more Effort you put in, the more deeply you THINK, the more work you put in to make your lessons something to be proud of, then the more I too can be proud of you.
Show your parents that you can be responsible! Make them proud to see how you can work and produce great work in Distance Learning!
I am evaluating everything you are doing. Keep shining with EXCELLENCE and you will learn a lot.
“When you miss a day (or a Lesson), you miss a lot!"
Now write me an email and tell me what you think and feel about this message! tstathis@vcusd.org
Sincerely,
Mr. Stathis
Dear Students:
Of the many things you are learning through this time of Distance Learning, is that you are learning to be independent in your responsibility to do your lessons.
That means you’re grow-up!
You are given a lot of tasks to do, and your parents cannot always be there to make sure you do it, and I am not there to direct you in-person.
Choose to follow the Daily School Schedule, and you will become GREAT!
I see the results of all your work. Your Classmates see some results of what you do in the kind of assignments that are shared in the Google Classrooms. But mainly it is you, you-you-you, who must believe how important it is to do Great Work!
I enjoyed seeing everyone on the video-conferences. Next one will be next Tuesday.
I hope you enjoy today’s Lessons.
Be sure to read the Daily School Schedule carefully!
Now write me an email and tell me what you think and feel about this message! tstathis@vcusd.org
Sincerely,
Mr. Stathis
Dear Students:
Yesterday, through my MESSAGE and your emails to me about it, we “talked” a lot about you being very “independent” in your responsibilities and that’s all about growing-up and becoming MATURE!
We have talked a lot in our great Classroom 16 about “maturity” and how, when we were in class together, what it means, in 100 ways, to be mature.
Now, in this strange time of Distance Learning being “mature” has a whole new set of meanings.
You know I always CHALLENGE you, and you know that being challenged is the way to really experience “the joy of learning.”
Accept my challenges in your Distance Learning assignments; follow the Daily School Schedule, and strive to do your work with excellence so that you can be proud of yourself that you are growing-up and showing great maturity!
Now write me an email and tell me what you think and feel about this message! tstathis@vcusd.org
Sincerely,
Mr. Stathis
